Request for Information
As a potential customer of technology listed at AssistiveX.com, when you submit a Request for Information, we ask you to enter basic information about you. It is up to you then to determine what additional personal information you would like to disclose. This information is forwarded to the pertinent company/researcher in the form of an e-mail. This information is not kept by AssistiveX.com.
This site makes message board forums available to its users. Please remember that any information disclosed in these areas becomes public. You should exercise caution when deciding what personal information to disclose.
When you register with one of our Community Message Boards, we ask for your name and email address. You will be sent an e-mail with a temporary password. After logging in with this password we ask you to create a personal password. We your e-mail address to contact you when necessary. When you become a registered user, we may also ask if you would like to receive email communication from us. AssistiveX.com will send email only if you have agreed to receive it. You do not have to receive such mailings in order to become a registered user and you may also unsubscribe at any time by following the instructions included in all email communications.
We may also use information from your account based on your site visits to generate statistics and aggregate reports for internal use, which may be shown to affiliates, subsidiaries, licensees, successors, and partners. When you register as an Industry Partner, we ask you to fill out a company profile. You may alter your profile at any time. Information such as name of company, type of business, industry, location, phone, email, website and services offered will be revealed as part of your company profile. You will also be asked to provide details of products and/or services that you wish to have listed here, and you will be provided with the opportunity to provide news stories, FAQ sheets, marketing banners, and other marketing information. The specific keyword search criteria that you provide for your product listings are considered absolutely private and confidential. At no time will this information be shared with other members of AssistiveX’s site or third parties without your specific and previous consent.
When you register as an Industry Member, we ask you to fill out a company profile. You may alter your profile at any time. Information such as name of company, type of business, industry, location, phone, email, website and services offered will be revealed as part of your company profile. No other information will be made available on this website, although you are free to participate in the public Message Board.
When you register as a Researcher, we ask you to fill out a researcher profile. You may alter your profile at any time. Information such as name and type of organization, location, phone, email, website, and research and development undertaken will be revealed as part of your profile. You will also be asked to provide details of research projects and technology that you wish to have listed here, and you will be provided with the opportunity to provide news stories and FAQ sheets. The specific keyword search criteria that you provide for your research/technology listings are considered absolutely private and confidential. At no time will this information be shared with other members of AssistiveX’s site or third parties without your specific and previous consent. You agree that certain information is conveyed for the purpose of partnering or for licensing opportunities with potential licensees. If you choose to list technology on AssistiveX.com, your contact information including name, title, organization, phone and email may accompany the description of your research/technology that is reviewed by users.
This site provides a directory of academic, nonprofit, government and for-profit companies. Information that is attained by AssistiveX for the development of this directory will be from publicly available sources. Designated members of an institution/company can update information at any time. Industry Participants, Industry Members, and Researchers will also be listed in this directory.

AssistiveX.com may contain other proprietary notices and copyright information, the terms of which must be observed and followed. Information on this Web site may contain technical inaccuracies or typographical errors.
